Wine and cheese with The Washington Post, reporters optional
Critics slammed The Washington Post this summer for attempting to host salons, where high-paying corporate sponsors could have off-the-record access to reporters. Instead of salons, the paper is now hosting wine tastings — with reporters as special guests. The first one took place last night. Post reporters are not required to attend the event, and they would have to pay an admission to attend, albeit a discounted one.
