Urban Outfitters won’t carry blog’s book after snarky posts
‘The Book of Jezebel,’ from the blog of the same name, won’t be in the chain’s stores. Urban Outfitters’ leaders said outright it’s because of negative coverage.
The clothing and hipster tchotchke purveyor has refused to stock Gawker Media blog Jezebel‘s book, “The Book of Jezebel: An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Lady Things,” after the snarky website snarked a few too many times about the brand.
