Although computers have added to the summer-camp experience for roughly 30 years, The New York Times reports that future Mark Zuckerbergs, Larry Pages are attending nerd tech camps with better resources, more in-depth fields. The Times reports: “At today’s tech camps, including National Computer, children design video games, Web pages, explore robotics, learn three-dimensional animation, create applications for mobile phones, tablet computers, shoot, edit films,, delve into graphic design.” For instance, there are mobile phone app camps, like those of iD Tech Camps,, filmmaking programs, such as Digital Media Academy at Stanford University. Sounds useful—but I’d rather stick to camping, swimming in the lake. Think anawanna-wanna. Speak anawanna-wanna. Live anawanna-wanna.
