Survey: Facebook, MySpace remain most popular social networks in America; LinkedIn, Twitter lag behind
A new study from Anderson Analytics has found that of the 110 million people in the U.S. using social networks—that’s 36 percent of the population—75 percent said Facebook was their most valuable network, followed by 65 percent citing MySpace, 30 percent giving the nod to LinkedIn and just 12 percent mentioning Twitter. The study also found that 61 percent of social network users are under the age of 35.
