Social media participation is patriotic, says Craigslist founder
Go ahead. Comment on that restaurant you visited last night. You’re doing a service to your country. At least that’s what Craigslist founder Craig Newmark said during a panel discussion Tuesday. He believes writing reviews and rating services online is a civic duty. “Participating in these sites is an act of compassion, in some sense patriotism,” Newmark said.
