Peter Cherukuri

Peter Cherukuri is an accomplished media executive, respected board member and a successful startup founder. With his extensive leadership experience at media companies such as Politico, Huffington Post and the Economist Group, Peter has a proven track record of driving data-driven innovation.  His latest venture is LeaderBoard, a media and intelligence startup focused on boardroom governance within public corporations and higher education institutions launching in Fall 2023. Peter's dedication to education and philanthropy is evident through his previous work as the president of startup incubator 1776, the co-founder of angel investment group K Street Capital and the founder of the think tank, The Data Catalyst Institute. As a graduate of Colgate University, Peter serves on numerous boards, including NPR station WAMU, National Press Foundation and the Close Up Foundation.
