Paige Parness is the Brand Director for Mount Gay Rum within the Remy Cointreau USA group, based in NY, NY
Coming to Remy Cointreau with over 15 years of experience in the liquor industry, including marketing strategy, breakthrough promotional programs and experiential events, Parness is also a member of the global leadership team for Mount Gay Rum. Parness has led the US Mount Gay brand team for over four years and developed particularly strong global relationships and is seen as a key partner in the business.
She has made herself an indispensable partner globally and continues to develop strong relationships across the organization, increasing Mount Gay’s share of voice internally and delivering results. Notable successes within the last two years include overseeing the evolution of the brand platform, Taste the Good Life, revamping the regatta program, and shaping the brand’s entry into golf with the PGA Tour and Peter Millar partnership. She was also instrumental in the creation of sustainable brand partnerships including SeaBags and 4Ocean.
Prior to joining Remy Cointreau, Parness held various marketing positions at William Grant & Sons over 10 years, working on Hendrick’s Gin and Tullamore D.E.W. as well as global travel retail roles. Prior to William Grant, Parness had an early start in the consumer promotional agency world, where she was introduced to the liquor industry, working on brands such as Jameson, Chivas Regal and Absolut. As a side gig for a few years, she even spent time as a wedding planner, truly enjoying the planning and execution of events from concept to reality.
She holds a bachelor’s degree and double majored in Marketing and Management from Fairfield University, as well as an alum of the online mini MBA from Mark Ritson, WSET II graduate and an active participant of the Women of the Vine & Spirits, allowing for a foundational basis for all integrated marketing strategy and client experiences.
