Maria Gamboa

Maria Gamboa is a consultant with Public Equity Group. She specializes in strategic planning, communications and fundraising for mission-driven organizations. She draws on her teaching and research experience to facilitate conversations about racial justice, equity and employee relations. She holds a PhD in history from the University of Chicago and a BA in ethnic studies and international studies from the University of California San Diego. She completed a dissertation on the history of Comprehensive Immigration Reform and Latino ethnic mobilizing and has taught 20 courses at the University of Chicago, Oberlin College and University of California Merced.
