Kaylyn Harris
Manager of Marketing and Communications - Nashville General Hospital
Kaylyn Harris is the Manager of Marketing and Communications for Nashville General Hospital, where she serves as brand champion, establishing and maintaining the hospitals and its’ subsidiaries brand images and communicating them through multiple channels. A trailblazer in the field of Graphic Design and Marketing, Kaylyn is the first in the hospital’s 134-year history to occupy this role.
An alumna of The University of Tennessee (Knoxville, TN), Kaylyn received a bachelor’s degree in advertising and minor in Business Administration. In 2015 while pursuing her undergraduate degree, Kaylyn began her first entrepreneurial venture as a freelance graphic designer with K|H Designs. What began to flex a creative muscle, quickly blossomed into a thirst for building dynamite branding and advertising results.
Since moving to Nashville, Kaylyn has embraced the city and her philanthropic contributions in the local community have been vast. An advocate for community advancement and volunteerism, Kaylyn currently serves as a member of various organizations, and has closely aligned herself with the American Heart Association and its mission. With her dedicated involvement to the American Heart Association and her experience working in the healthcare industry, she is committed to using her platform to give a voice to the voiceless because losing even one woman to cardiovascular disease is too many, and education is vital to changing these statistics. Kaylyn believes that together, we can change the narrative surrounding cardiovascular disease and commit ourselves to having healthy “Happy Hearts.”
