Kathy Eichlin
Head of Fraud Protection and Corporate Communications - Syngenta
Growing up in Ohio, Kathy Eichlin’s love for communications and passion for working with teams began early in her career. Focused on helping companies communicate clearly and strategically, especially during key moments of crisis and change, Eichlin is a communications professional whose insights are valued in corporate boardrooms around the world. Her roots in communications run deep in a variety of fields, with prior experience in the healthcare industry serving as Public Relations Director for health systems in Chicago, Philadephia and Voorhees, NJ, before coming to Syngenta. As the current head of internal communications for Syngenta US Crop Protection, she leads strategic communications, community and employee relations, change and crisis communications for this leading agricultural company.
Eichlin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Journalism from Otterbein University, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Communications from Northern Illinois University. She is certified in Executive Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and Ragan Communications Leadership Council Board. Kathy has been recognized for her leadership receiving an Honorary Degree from National FFA, as a as Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women and has received a Gold Hermes Award for Outstanding Internal Communications Campaign, the PR News National Award for Internal Campaign and Employee Relations, and a Ragan PR Daily Award for Corporate Internal Communications Team Effort.
Kathy is active in the Oak Ridge, North Carolina, community where she resides with her husband and two sons.
