Kamian Allen is an award-winning communications executive with 20+ years of experience leading industry storytelling, executive positioning, and reputation strategy for global corporations, nonprofits, and agencies. Allen's work spans in-house leadership, agency direction, and independent consultancy, including thought leadership, issues and crisis management, and media engagement.
Allen’s foundation in campaign-driven storytelling and purpose communications informs her ability to craft narratives that move people and markets. In her current role, she shapes Audible’s industry leadership at the intersection of culture and technology, while navigating complex reputational, policy, and industry dynamics.
Previously, Allen held senior agency roles, including at Edelman, and advised Fortune 500 companies, national nonprofits, and advocacy organizations through business transformations, brand inflection points, and high-stakes reputational challenges. She has led industry-defining campaigns with brands such as Danone, Samsung, Johnson & Johnson, Cigna, DreamWorks Animation, and United Way.
Recognized for excellence in both public service and crisis communications, her work has earned top honors from PRSA and PR News, including the PRSA-NY Big Apple Award for Crisis and Global Communications, and the PR News Nonprofit Award for Public Service. Allen was also named to City & State’s “40 Under 40” list and studied Urban Development and Environmental Biology at Columbia University.
