Joseph Kemp

Joseph N. Kemp is an accomplished public relations professional with over 15 years of experience in media strategy, crisis communications, and digital production. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Public Relations at Northwell Health, he leads a dynamic team that generates more than $150 million in publicity value for the organization annually. The Northwell media relations team excels at achieving two key goals: securing media placements with high-impression value, but also targeting hyperlocal placements that may be lower in impression value but reach consumers who are more likely to choose Northwell. Prior to his role at Northwell, Kemp held senior editorial positions at major publications like the New York Daily News and the New York Post. He holds bachelor’s degrees in journalism and film from New York University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
