Vice President of Communications - BODYARMOR
In this multi-faceted role, Danielle Hughes leads and oversees all aspects of the communications function within marketing for BODYARMOR and POWERADE including, public relations, paid media and advertising, social media, influencer strategy, internal communications, executive strategy and communications, global communications (the brand recently expanded into Canada), corporate social responsibility communications and reputation management. Within her time at BODYARMOR, Hughes has spearheaded the launch of various innovation platforms including BODYARMOR Zero Sugar, BODYARMOR Flash I.V., POWERADE Sours, as well as milestone partnerships with Barstool Sports, Dude Perfect and Savannah Bananas. Prior to BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition, she began her career in agency, working at both MSL Group and Ketchum Sports in New York supporting sports-related brands and campaigns including P&G's beloved "Thank You, Mom" campaign.
She resides in New Jersey with her husband Phil, two children (Quinn and Cameron) and her two dogs (Charlie and Monty).
