Official beer of the Olympics protested in London
British politicians would rather throw down with the Olympic Committee than throw back a Dutch-imported Heineken on U.K. soil.
Greg Mulholland, chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Save the Pub Group (yeah, that exists), introduced a motion in the British Parliament that denounces the Olympic Committee for choosing Heineken, a Dutch import, as the official beer of the London Games instead of one brewed in the U.K.
On his website, Mulholland declares:
