Introducing PR Daily’s new co-editor, Clare Lane

New year, new job.

I began 2016 in an exciting new role: PR Daily’s co-editor, working with Beki Winchel.

Since I stepped into this position, the temperature here in Chicago has dropped a staggering 40 degrees. Bad omen? I’d rather consider it a reason to start heating up content for our readers.

I don’t mean literally hot content—to be submitted in steaming, smoking packages via mail. Instead, I’d like to publish articles that are as current and interesting as possible.

First, some background.

On my mother’s encouraging, I attended my college newspaper’s informational meeting. I had little idea that years later I’d be a seasoned media professional with experience in community news, niche publications and even radio.
