Domino’s CEO says wage increase is necessary
The pizza chain’s executive said the company needed to adopt higher pay for employees, but most of its stores are franchises.
The latest to jump on the pay raise bandwagon is Domino’s. CEO Patrick Doyle went on CNBC this week, where he was asked about his company’s compensation for low-wage employees.
“We’ve gotta pay more to get people right now,” he said during the interview. “The great news is the economy is moving, it is getting better, it’s getting harder to hire people.”
