Cory Booker’s communications director resigns
The split is amicable, although one report says she left ‘amid internal strife.’
Now his communications director has had enough. Booker’s spokesperson of six years, 29-year-old Anne Torres, is parting ways with the mayor. According to the New Jersey Star-Ledger, the split is a result of her boss’s recent “gaffe.” Meanwhile, PolitickerNJ‘s Max Pizarro reports that Anne Torres left Booker’s administration “amid internal administration strife.”
However, Torres issued a statement that doesn’t remotely hint at strife:
