Antonia Caamano puts Ruder Finn’s clients at the head of the pack
Antonia Caamano turned a Cisco exec into a major thought leader and brought a niche networking service provider to the top tier of media coverage. She’s a winner in the Content Marketer category of Ragan’s Top Women in Communications Awards, Class of 2024.
Since joining Ruder Finn in 2021, senior VP Antonia Caamano has spearheaded multiple campaigns bringing technology brands to the forefront of the media’s and the public’s attention, focusing on providing solutions for her clients’ evolving content marketing needs and communications objectives.
In 2023, for example, Caamano took on the assignment of communicating Cisco Learning & Certifications’ (L&C) value to partners, customers and individuals. She launched an executive thought leadership campaign for Par Merat, vice president of Cisco L&C, positioning her as a leading industry voice, and strategically deployed proactive media relations, social media and thought leadership content in support.
Her strategy earned media coverage featuring Par’s commentary in outlets including Fortune, Chief Learning Officer, Dark Reading and IT Pro Today, and interviews with Fast Company and Bloomberg. Additionally, Caamano and her team drafted and published social posts for Par’s LinkedIn page, earning more than 198,776,000 impressions and more than 1,732 new followers.
Cammano then took advantage of the momentum to refresh Cisco L&C’s brand narrative, streamlining it to share its learning resources with individuals and organizations. She brought together the agency’s branding experts to secure the project; the new Cisco L&C brand narrative is expected to launch with an anthem video later in 2024.
In another project, Caamano helped transform Infoblox, a little-known, niche networking service provider, into a DNS security leader and an expert on DNS threat intelligence. This called for her to support the launch of three global threat intelligence reports that translated complex cybersecurity concepts into accessible media narratives. Her efforts resulted in 36 unique articles, reaching 54.7 million people, including exclusive coverage with Brian Krebs of Krebs on Security, a top security journalist.
In addition to her primary responsibilities, Caamano is actively involved in new business pitches; most recently, she won the account for Neo4j, one of the fastest-scaling technology companies in its category.
Congratulations to Antonia Caamano and her work generating excitement and attention where it matters.
