After actor’s comments, gun maker calls for boycott of Liam Neeson films
Neeson criticized American firearm policy, prompting PARA USA, the company that supplied guns for his new movie, to retaliate.
Liam Neeson has had the type of career resurgence that many actors of a certain age can only dream about. At age 62, he’s a bona fide action star—and now he’s at the center of the national conversation about gun control.
In the wake of this month’s Charlie Hebdo attacks, Neeson had harsh words for America’s gun policies (he used the term “f**king disgrace” among others). This was while he was in Dubai promoting his upcoming movie, “Taken 3,” in which he plays a gun-toting vigilante.
This didn’t sit well with pro-gun folks, like gun makers, gun owners and anyone who generally agrees with the sanctity of the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.
