Brenda Clark is Vice President of Transformation & Enterprise Employee Communications, at Baker Hughes. Appointed in 2022, she is responsible for the company’s global internal strategy in employee, transformation, executive leadership, and change communications.
Prior to this, Brenda led corporate affairs, content marketing and media relations for Baker Hughes’ Oilfield Equipment business, managing a global team across four continents, as well as public affairs for Baker Hughes in the UK. She was also OFE business transformation leader.
A 20-year professional with international experience in the private sector, Brenda has worked across marketing, sales, communications, HR, change management and culture curation. Previously, Brenda was a senior communications executive at Wood. She led the company’s content marketing strategy as well as played a leading role in several mergers and acquisitions, including the Wood Group merger with Amec Foster Wheeler, the combination that became Wood.
Brenda has a demonstrable track record of highly impactful, revenue generating content-led marketing and communications campaigns across 60 geographical markets and industry sectors. A former journalist and chief sub editor, Brenda earned a degree while working full-time, in politics, philosophy, and economics from the Open University. Born in Scotland and now living in the US, Brenda thrives on learning new cultures, developing new ways of connecting with people and fostering inclusion.
