Krysten Copeland is an award-winning communications strategist and founder of KC & Co Communications, a small but mighty public relations consultancy based in Washington, DC and Brooklyn, NY. She manages firm operations along with strategic and tactical planning for clients within the political, tech and advocacy arenas. Her clients have included President James Madison’s estate, Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke (D), National Cherry Blossom Festival, Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Theatre Washington, real estate entrepreneur and Netflix host Ati Williams, former New York Assemblyman and DNC Vice Chair Michael Blake, Transdev North America and a host of other tech, lifestyle, real estate, advocacy and political clients. She also serves on the board of Pine Forge Academy, one of the four remaining African American boarding schools in the U.S., and volunteers with Reading Partners, a children's literacy nonprofit.
