Marisa Sharkey, APR is the senior manager of U.S. corporate communications and media relations at Novo Nordisk, where she leads corporate public relations for the global pharmaceutical company's US business covering 5,000 employees at 7 locations, enhancing and protecting corporate reputation among key stakeholders internally and externally. Prior to joining Novo Nordisk, she worked in various communications leadership capacities at Tenet Healthcare, The Cooper Health System and Lockheed Martin, and consulted at organizations including DuPont and Einstein Healthcare Network. She has also worked on the agency side at numerous New Jersey and Philadelphia-based PR agencies, including AKCG Public Relations Counselors, LevLane and Annie Jennings PR.
