HARO hires a COO

Peter Shankman, founder of Help A Reporter Out (HARO), has hired Thom Brodeur to become HARO’s chief operating officer. Brodeur was laid off last month from his position as senior vice president of global strategy and development at Marketwire. He will handle HARO’s corporate strategy, marketing, sales, business development and operations from L.A., according to PRNewser blog.
