Wells Fargo faces backlash from powerful fans of suit maker
Bankrupt suit maker Hartmarx, the president’s clothier, faced an obstacle to its plan to name a London-based firm as its buyer. Wells Fargo, the main creditor of Illinois-based Hartmarx, reportedly threatened to cut off future funds if the company went forward with the London firm.
