Tribune’s Sam Zell: Future of newspapers is PDFs
As you probably know, Sam Zell is the billionaire real estate tycoon who bought the Tribune Co. and failed to pull it out of its tailspin. Zell was on CNBC this week musing about the future of newspapers. Among the things he said was that “going forward, it’s going to require all kinds of different approaches, including probably most significant, the elimination of home delivery, and the replacement of it by PDFs.”
