The sports blog Deadspin broke the story that the QB had a tryst with a 17-year-old. Sanchez is 24.
Turns out that in New York there’s nothing illegal about this arrangement, though it is a bit … European for our taste.
Sanchez has been the model of a good citizen and athlete since joining the Jets two years. Well, until now.
“For the first time in the spotlight, Sanchez has a public relations problem,” veteran PR pro Fraser Seitel wrote for Ragan.com. “Thus far, he has said nothing publicly about this incident. He should, immediately.”
