New software corrects AP style
Call off the scavenger hunt for those misplaced Stylebooks, editors. This Microsoft Word plug-in has you covered.
That’s happened to me twice in my life. The first was pajama jeans. (Still waiting for a men’s version!) The second is a plug-in for Microsoft Word that checks content against the AP Stylebook for spelling, language, punctuation, usage and journalistic style.
The plug-in, dubbed AP StyleGuard, is available in its beta format. From the AP:
