Kids with cancer shouldn’t have to grow up any faster than they already do. But they can use grown-ups to help make sure of that.
However, the honor for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, while sincerely remarkable given all of the huge breakthroughs the organization has made in terms of cancer, is also a sad one—sad because it means that even after 50 years, the lives of innocent kids are still at risk of this horrific disease.
For now, that means help is still needed, help that could very well mean you.
