Houston eatery renames burger after In-N-Out threatens legal action
The sandwich formerly known as the ‘UB Double Double’ is now aptly named the ‘Cease-and-Desist.’ You want fries with that?
That’s exactly what chef Chris Shepherd of Houston’s Underbelly did when the restaurant received a cease-and-desist letter from In-N-Out Burger.
Shepherd had scrumptious-looking creation on his menu called the UB Double Double burger—which sounds quite similar to In-N-Out’s “Double Double” burger. In-N-Out has trademarked a whole bunch of variations of “double double.”
