Careful what you say on Twitter about Oprah Winfrey—she might be listening and she might respond in front of her 16 million followers.
That very thing happened to Twitter user @kp1lady, who tweeted to her hundreds of followers on Monday:
Turns out, Oprah was listening—and she wasn’t amused. The Queen of Talk fired off this response:

Oprah’s quick response was retweeted 129 times, and it unleashed a number of comments from her more than 16 million fans, such as:
Although it might seem surprising that Oprah would issue such a response, a scroll through her tweets on Monday show she was actively engaged on Twitter, having responded to a number of individual tweets when the offending mention came in.
Perhaps she learned something about the negative force of social media when she
tweeted about her “favorite thing”—a Microsoft tablet—from an iPad.
