American Family Association goes after Kellogg’s

The American Family Association is attacking the cereal maker after mascot Tony the Tiger appeared in an ad espousing LGBT rights.

A group self-described as “pro-family,” but which some have described as “anti-gay” has its sights set on Tony the Tiger.

We’re all familiar with the affable mascot for insanely sugary cereal Frosted Flakes. But you might not know that Tony is a supporter of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. He appeared in an ad that touted the LGBT rights efforts of his parent company, Kellogg.

The American Family Association and its legion of Facebook followers are not happy:
