Media relations assistant at Dartmouth

By Alan Pearcy | Posted: October 26, 2012
Vox clamantis in deserto.

Translation: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness.”

Bit of an awkward school motto there, Dartmouth, but I suppose if you’re not the one shedding tears in the end, it’s OK.

However, there is bound to be waterworks for somebody given that the Ivy League institution has only one media relations assistant opening and countless candidates vying for the lone spot. The person in this role will be responsible for monitoring and developing metrics to measure news coverage of the school in the press, so you’ll need to take your application as seriously, if not more (probably more), than your college applications if you stand to have any chance at scoring an interview.

And you can find that application here.
