Now there’s a free service that will tell you.

Churnalism.com, which launched in the U.K. two years ago, enables the public to copy and paste text from a news story to find out whether (and to what degree) that story “borrows” from press releases or Wikipedia. The site is now available in the United States as Churnalism U.S.
