Tool to detect press release copy in news stories debuts in U.S.
Churnalism, which launched in the U.K. two years ago, can tell you whether journalists are copying and pasting your press releases.
Now there’s a free service that will tell you.
Churnalism.com, which launched in the U.K. two years ago, enables the public to copy and paste text from a news story to find out whether (and to what degree) that story “borrows” from press releases or Wikipedia. The site is now available in the United States as Churnalism U.S.
