As far as Twitter brand marketing campaigns go, this one is up there with the most epic, especially if you’re a hot dog enthusiast.
Behold, the 2014 Wienermobile:
That’s right—Oscar Mayer is giving Twitter users a chance to lease the Wienermobile for what will clearly be the best day of that winner’s life.
USA Today’s Whitney Matheson
has taken a ride in the Wienermobile (seemingly to inspire worldwide jealousy) and she says it’s “just as exciting as you’d imagine.”
Clearly, she’s right. It’s a car shaped like a hot dog
. How could it not be amazing?
Though I’m inclined to tell you all the wrong hashtag to use to enter the contest, lest I have a better chance of winning, it’s #Tweet2Lease.

When I first heard about the campaign, I figured my perfectly worded and oh-so-epic Wienermobile tweet would win and I would be allowed to drive the thing around like a madman for an entire day, visiting ex-girlfriends and former high school coaches who stuck me at the end of the bench.
Then I read the fine print
The winner will come from a random drawing and they won’t actually get to drive the Wienermobile.
Now that’s bologna.
