PR Daily reported this week that Kraft-owned Oreo cookies launched a Facebook campaign to garner the most “likes” in a 24-hour period. The cookie-maker needed 45,000 to set the record.
We’re happy to announce that as of 9 a.m. Eastern time on Wednesday, dunkers and twisters set aside their difference and made Oreo the most “liked” cookie on the planet. According to
Guinness World Records, one of milk’s favorite buddies took away 114,619 “likes” with a single Facebook post.
Unfortunately for Oreo, the record may prove fleeting. Rapper Lil Wayne is out to set the same record for the most “likes” in a 24-hour period.
We guess everyone just wants to be “liked.” And speaking of,
