Corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs took a bruising during the recession, as a number of organizations curtailed their CSR budgets.
As the entries to PR Daily's first-ever Corporate Social Responsibility Awards showed us, the recession did
not hurt the quality of the CSR campaigns.
The work coming from all types of organizations is incredibly impressive, and we appreciate all of the entrants sharing their work with us. But we had to choose winners—the do-gooders who did the best in each category.
Thanks to everyone who entered. And thanks for being a part of the
PR Daily community.
Congrats to the winners! Look for a
PR Daily Special Edition that delves into the campaigns that won the top spot in each category.
