Marketing associate with the National Geographic Channel

By Alan Pearcy | Posted: March 8, 2013
If you think about it, the wilds of Africa aren’t too different from those of the concrete jungle. Whether you're on safari or job shadowing with a prospective colleague, the experiences of watching creatures who inhabit these worlds are quite comparable.

Take, for example, the lion, who is frequently spotted skillfully stalking its food and prey. Meanwhile, in the workplace, professionals are often found vigilantly preying upon their weaker counterparts in an attempt to climb the corporate food chain. And both groups fight over territory—whether it's a shady grove or a corner office.

National Geographic Channel is providing an opportunity to better familiarize yourself with both sides, but first you’ll have to prove your dominance among the candidate pool.

Rather that hunting and survival skills, however, the growing cable TV network is hiring a marketing associate skilled in social media and passionate about television to manage the brand’s presence and buzz on key digital platforms while helping increase chatter around its key series.
