Is text lingo the future of English?

Text messaging, according to many, is getting out of control in American society. But exactly how out of control is it getting?

A new infographic from OnlineSchools.com breaks down the most staggering numbers around texting, and it’s pretty daunting. For example, 97 percent of 18-24 year olds text on a daily basis, sending an average of 109.5 texts per day. Sounds exhausting.
