Earnings boost for parent company of Porter Novelli, Fleishman-Hillard, and Ketchum

By Kevin Allen | Posted: October 20, 2011
Omnicom Group, parent company of PR firms Porter Novelli, Fleishman-Hillard and Ketchum, is reporting another round of strong earnings.

The company’s net income for the third quarter of 2011 increased 16.7 percent to $203.7 million, from $174.6 million in the third quarter of 2010. International revenues increased 22 percent to $1.68 billion, while U.S. revenues of $1.7 billion marked a 5.3 percent increase.

“Geographically all of our major markets experienced solid organic growth,” John Wren, chief executive told Financial Times. “This performance is particularly notable given the worsening of economic and capital market conditions since our last earnings call.”
