that Kraft-owned Oreo cookies launched a Facebook campaign to garner the most “likes” in a 24-hour period. The cookie-maker needed 45,000 to set the record.
We’re happy to announce that as of 9 a.m. Eastern time on Wednesday, dunkers and twisters set aside their difference and made Oreo the most “liked” cookie on the planet. According to Guinness World Records
, one of milk’s favorite buddies took away 114,619 “likes” with a single Facebook post.
Unfortunately for Oreo, the record may prove fleeting. Rapper Lil Wayne is out to set the same record for the most “likes” in a 24-hour period.
